Crucial fixture for Scotland on this Sunday, as they welcome Belarus to the city of Glasgow.
European football mid-game scores:
The Norwegian team three-nil Israel – Haaland scored the second score.
Hungary nil-nil Armenia
England update: Jarell Quansah withdrawn
Jarell Quansah will sit out England's World Cup qualifying match against the Latvian side due to injury and the player – who did not play in the national team's 3-0 exhibition victory over the Welsh team at Wembley Stadium – will head back to his club Bayer Leverkusen.
He has been a key player in Leverkusen's defence this season but England said no further squad additions were arranged for the qualifier in Riga on Tuesday.
The English side could qualify for next year's FIFA World Cup with two matches to spare if they overcome Latvia on Tuesday and outcomes elsewhere in their qualifying group go their way.
Preamble
It’s make or break for Ireland, though their opportunities of reaching North America may already be over. A well-known face in Cristiano Ronaldo awaits them, and the Portuguese squad are leading of Group F. At Sporting Club’s stadium, the Irish side confront a huge challenge.
Our other main focus will be reigning European champions the Spanish national team, who have won all their matches so far in their group, against the Georgian team, who have never earned a place for a major tournament and are aiming for the qualifying playoffs. The Georgian attacker has been a doubt and the Premier League club fans will get a opportunity to see Giorgi Mamardashvili.
