In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an exclusive katana alongside numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
